Free add-on for NSW Health Employee Online
Roster Sync: your roster, in your calendar. Automatically.
Roster Sync is a free browser extension that copies your shifts from Employee Online into your Google Calendar, so they're on your phone and watch.
Install on a computer in Chrome, Edge or Firefox. Your phone gets the shifts through its calendar.
Roster Sync uses your Google account only to keep your shifts in one calendar, Work roster. It doesn't use AI or handle images. Privacy policy. No ads. Made by a coworker, not by NSW Health.

Not in the Chrome store yet, so add it by hand in Chrome or Edge. About two minutes.
Chrome or Edge
- Download roster-sync.zip and extract it into Documents. Keep the folder: the browser runs it from there.
- Go to
chrome://extensions(Edge:edge://extensions) and turn on Developer mode. - Click Load unpacked and pick the extracted folder.
- Open your roster and click Connect Google Calendar (bottom right). Any Google account works.
- Google says it hasn't verified the app? That's expected for now: click Advanced, then Go to Roster Sync.
Good to know
- Update: extract the new zip over the old folder, then click the reload arrow on Roster Sync in the extensions page.
- Work computer blocks Developer mode? Use your own computer.
- Nothing to install on your phone. It gets the shifts through its calendar.
- Firefox version coming soon.
